Tron Prototype Eproms ?

Notice the date code of May 12th,
which pre-dates the production versions of Jun 15/17/25,
and the letters P-R-O (prototype?) on the labels

Note : The bottom eprom is a modified FreePlay eprom,
not originally part of the set
